Another guige strap issue/question

I received 'a masterwork heavy wooden shield' tonight with the name of 'a platinum-crested blood red heavy shield emblazoned with a moon and stars'. I tried to use it with my guige strap and got the message 'That does not go in there.' The heater shield I have been using is classed as 'a heavy metal shield' and it works fine with the strap. I understand that certain larger shields, like tower shields, should not work with the guige strap but since this one is classed as a heavy shield like the heater, I thought I would post it.

So long as you are referring to it as a shield when you attempt to sling it then there should not be any issues. e.g. put shield guige or sling shield

You're right and it does work using the keyword 'shield'. I had been trying other keywords from it's name like 'blood' and 'heavy' to differentiate it from the other shield I had in inventory but I guess I forgot to try 'shield' again after dropping the second one. I'm sorry, I should have tested it better before posting. To confirm: it is working properly.
