N-Tunnels S-Tunnels W-Tunnels
These tunnels vary in height and width. Most of their
length seem to be natural though you do find sections
that look to have been expanded with tools.
A filthy dwarf cowers here.

I have tried a variety of responses that include my name, offering help, asking for help, threatening to kill him, mention of Elminster, and goodness knows what else. He does not respond to any.

This quest, like many older ones, relies heavily upon RAND_PROGs to insert pauses and this has been shown to be unreliable. It was not broken necessarily, but it often has problems. I went through and edited this little quest to rely instead upon speech progs and pause comments.
