Soo, I ran into this problem.

>wield knife
You wield a fletching knife in your right hand.
You don't even know which end of a fletching knife is up!
>fletch wood long bow
You need to wield a sharp weapon.
>inv
You are carrying:
( 3) a piece of wood (superb)
( 3) a copper arrowhead (perfect)
( 3) a feather (perfect)

I wield a scimitar, however, and it works just fine.

This is a known bug that requires Mask's attention. I have bumped it up for his attention.

In short, from the other thread:

The types that should work for these are: WEAPON_TYPE_DAGGER (13), WEAPON_TYPE_KNIFE (58), and WEAPON_TYPE_SICKLE (59). (Basically the short blades category.)

Mask fixed this, pending an update of the game port.
