I would like to suggest adding a second note board in Waterdeep in a secular location. The current noteboard is located in an area where certain characters have to break rp to enter, such as faith enemies, darker classes and guilds or even certain races like tieflings or halfdrow. I'd suggest adding one to the Dripping dagger or a public square nearby.

Seconded. I usually just use the one in ZK, but it's also in a temple and it's about the same break in RP to use either one for some PCs.

Might it be placed in the room south of WD square? There is already a sort of note board there, but it does not seem an oft used one.

Not sure it should be in the market, the market loiterers would probably start hanging out around it.

Perhaps in the Court of the White Bull then?

Sounds good to me. It would make sense from an RP aspect too, since it is a barding school's courtyard.

Curious, what is that from? Volo's guide places it as a sort of open air market, especially for cattle, after a mage battle burned down an inn there.

I probably confused two different rooms. I thought you meant the courtyard to the east of the market. The Singing Sword has an exit into it if I recall.

I don't see a problem with putting one in the room south of [] as it's not like the note board is so exciting it will attract people just by being there. And it seems ICly appropriate with the other notice board being there.

I'm in complete agreement, if anything it will add to the market area.

I think the point was that it be put somewhere that tieflings and other less circumspect races could reach it without drawing undue attention, and thus the objection to my suggesting market proximity.
