Bug with item 'cigarette holder' diasppearing after one use

Post by Ashbel » Fri Jan 31, 2014 1:39 am

Just a little weirdness. I would have thought that a holder would be re-useable- also that it might be best worn on 'face' or held? But that's another thing. Here is what I got:

You stop using shiny silver earrings.
You wear an ebony holder tipped with a cigarette on your ears.

<100%hp 0m 100%mv> ignite cigarette
You light your cigarette in the holder.

<100%hp 0m 100%mv> inhale cig
You inhale deeply off the cigarette holder, rich velvety smoke crawling into your lungs.

<100%hp 0m 100%mv> blow
You take a rich lung full of smoke, before spitting it back out in a dazzling smoke ring.

<100%hp 0m 100%mv> inhale
You inhale deeply off the cigarette holder, rich velvety smoke crawling into your lungs.
The cigarette becomes too small to puff on, and extinguishes.

<100%hp 0m 100%mv> examine holder

(No game response)

<100%hp 0m 100%mv> remove holder

You are not using that item.

You are carrying:
shiny silver earrings (perfect)
(Glowing) a large dragonscale bag with a sword (perfect)
a pair of steel gauntlets with cold iron fingers (perfect)
( 2) a wooden cup of ale (perfect)
5 copper coins (superb)
a gold coin (superb)

<100%hp 0m 100%mv> wear earrings
You wear shiny silver earrings on your ears.

It just seems to have been extinguished with the cigarette.
But now, seeing that the spirits of death stand close about us in their thousands, no man can turn aside or escape them, let us go on and win glory for ourselves, or yield it to others.

I've nudged the builder for his opinion on the situation.
"A man may die yet still endure if his work enters the greater work, for time is carried upon a current of forgotten deeds, and events of great moment are but the culmination of a single carefully placed thought." - Chime of Eons
