Experience for skill/spell use.

I went through the forum with the dedication of the curious, rather than the dedication of an archaeologist trying to dig up the past, but didn't see any previous posts about this. Have you guys ever considered granting a small amount of experience for the use of spells and skills?
This would make it a bit easier for the wizard class to level up a bit at low levels where it can be tough if you're alone.
*edited to add: I just saw in the help file that spell casting "in real world use" gives exp. I guess I just didn't notice before.
