Ardeep armour

Post by Tami » Sat Mar 01, 2014 4:01 am

Before my ranger became a Ranger, the moon elf in Ardeep that sell elven armour would give me a list then when I tried to buy it he said he only sold to Rangers and Druids, well here I am a Ranger now, and now he won't even show a list. It give the echo "You can't buy anything here" and it isn't just me Wenin also as a problem with it.

He had junked his inventory. In short, it should be fine for you now, but I am not sure what caused the problem in the first place.

He shows a list now, but his items are all out of stock.

In the past when I enquired about the same thing I was told it was deliberate. Is he set to still retain his armour goods now or have they just been removed?

I made some changes (not yet live on the game port) which will make these viable objects for sale once more.

He now longer sells anything now... it seems like it bonces around a lot... Will these changes fix him hopefully?

Now he only sells one item per customer. If this is a permant thing I'd like to suggest a sign being put in that he only offer ONE ITEM per customer. If he wishes to limit people who buys the items then he should sell one of EACH ITEM, that way people can get at least some moderate protection

If its unique or magic armour it may be a deliberate thing that he only will sell one piece, meaning a character should only have a limited amount.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Spelling is not necessarily correct :)

It is elven armour that is only sold one piece per person. It is unique and due to it's specifically elven nature not really meant to be something to be worn by just anybody/non-elves.

That makes sense... except that armor is done piecemeal in FK... so this process prevents someone from obtaining a full set of elven armor... something that so many others are allowed to obtain allowing for matching sets of armor.

I'm simply jealous of those who are able to get a full set of matching armor. =)

He should be coded to only sell to rangers. In that section of the ranger guilding quest, you are told that he will only sell one piece. Wenin, that is true, but those other armors also don't have any tangible benefits over similar armor. All full plate is the same codewise, all heavy mail the same codewise, etc.
