The respawn message for a certain ruined village is:
You hear the chatter of villagers in the streets.
Not a living soul within those buildings....

Yes the village was emptied years ago but is part of the villages of the kingdoms area so still receives the same echoes as other places in the area.

The area could do with a little touch up, some of the room descriptions (the tavern and general store buildings, off the top of my head) mention the non-existant NPCs doing things.

There is a total overhaul of that little area (the result of an RP many years ago now) that should go live tomorrow at the latest. I'm just packing some more quests into it.

Looking forward to it!

This is done on the game port now. There is nothing really crazy here, but a brief little encounter situation aimed for mid-level PCs (some of the combat can be a little hairy). I would equate it to Maos, but the mobs are fewer and better equipped.
p.s. the old village is still there, but not connected with any entrances to the game world; if you quit in there, you can still escape
