broken magical item or chest?

PC Deik and I where in the bandit tunnel south of Waterdeep. We each had a patched cloak with the magical key patch. Both of us attempted to use the key patches on the chest in the bandit lair, and both times got the message about the lock turning, but the chest was still locked. We ask for A. The patch to be restored and the chest fixed? Please.


You tear a patch from your cloak, and it turns into a brass key.

This would appear to be yet another casualty of the mpaffect bug.

Uhm, one correction. A staff member was able to open the chest for us, so we don't want the key patch back. The RP was better. Some times, you use up good items for little reward. Part of life! Deik and Dardek had an adventure!
