Safeday!

(A notice nailed to various posts and signed with the name Nilco Lindenbough)
On the fifth day of every tenday the hin celebrate a holiday, namely, Safeday. It's a day of rest and relaxation, when families gather together to offer up the bounty of their harvest. Everyone contributes to a great feast, joining together in merriment and friendship. Us hin of the Sword Coast have a more distant relation; many of us come from different communities, but nevertheless we still share a common bond as children of our beloved Matriarch, Yondalla. So, we shall be celebrating our own kind of Safeday.
We'll assemble in the Copse of Yondalla and prepare a feast with ingredients and materials that were kindly provided by the good and kindly hin of Corm Orp. Once that's done we'll pack everything away into baskets and head to the Hungry Halfling inn in Corm Orp to partake of our feast and a special mystery contest! The winner will have their name written into the book of Safeday champions. As the night wanes those interested will retire to the Ladyhouse, the temple of the Green Sister, for some quieter retelling of stories and ancient folktales. Any leftovers from the feast are welcome to be taken away at the end of the evening.
Additionally, to give succor and aid to our more novice kin we'll be handing out treasure chests full of useful items to those hin who request it. We have seven of them and they'll be given out on a first-come first-get basis (or alternatively, decided based on who seems to need the items the most). These chests will include useful potions, food, good hin ale, whetstones, bandages, and other essentials for travellers.
It should be definitively noted that although this is a halfling festival, and we're looking forward to seeing them the most, well-intentioned outsiders are definitely welcome to partake, and encouraged to do so. We'll be looking forward to seeing you this Safeday!
Any questions can be directed towards Nilco Lindenbough.
