Herding the True Believers

Post by Aldren » Wed May 21, 2014 8:07 pm

Spur Lord Nerian Xavril hereby calls all True Believers of the One God, Lord Cyric the Thrice-Crowned, to gather, in one tenday's time, 'neath the shadow of the Ebon Spires in His Most Holy City. Details beside time and location are kept to null with purpose in whispered caution.

Those pledging allegiance and fealty to the One True God will be admitted with offering to be made upon His altar and judgment cast by His Most Wicked, Lord Xavril.

I might be a little late, or miss it. I thought I could make it on time, but it looks like today a couple things changed. I'll try and make it for some of it.

A very large THANK YOU to all those who turned out for this event - early, late, or otherwise. We had a great turnout and a very fun time all around - A special thank you to the two "goodies" who managed to follow some clues and an overall apology for not having more time to spend RPing it out fully - Having 4 hopefuls show up to a faith event is fantastic and I hope to hold many more of these over the coming weeks.

Thanks again, all. It's folks like ya'll that showed up that keep FK fun, engaging, and a reward in itself to log in and have such wonderful players to RP with.

****************************************
****************************************
Black riders are sent from the gates of the
Ebon Spires, hand-delivering missives to each
servant, shrouded and open, of the Prince of
Three Crowns, Lord of Darkness, the One True
God. From the Moonsea they press west,
delivering news to His faithful, murmured
whispers from the shadows.
****************************************
****************************************

By the hand of the Knightsbane, Nerian His First Sword
and Master of Bezantur's House Xavril, declares the
next waning of the highest moon a Day of the Dark
Sun. This most revered and mostly forgotten day I
declare all capable servants of Lord Cyric the Thrice-
Crowned King to gather in His shadow, at the thrice-
tolling Bell, upon the grounds of the Ebon Spires within
the walls of His Most Revered City, Thargate Keep.

By the hand of the Banelord, all capable servants who
enter the Ebon Spires will bear tithe of sacrifice, and
he who arrives with blood to spill into these Most
Sacred Sands will receive His most gracious hand.

Those servants whose sacrifice and continued
dedication to the One True Way will find recognition
and station under His most steeled's gaze, and plans
will continue to roll into and out of motion for the days
to come.

He who has not bent bloodied knee to prove dedicated
service in the Shadow of the Black Sun will be judged
by and appeasements be made to the Banelord.

Transcribed of My word, made worthy by Lord Cyric's
command and will,
Nerian Xavril

This next faith gathering will take place next week at this time: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/f ... =3094&ah=3

I hope to see as many of you there as possible, no matter if you're an inquirer, hopeful, faithful or otherwise.

This starts in 30 minutes, but due to RL, I'm going to be 30 minutes late. I'm sure this can go off without me starting it, so feel free to congregate and I'll see you in an hour.
