I, Cadyf Greenheart, Ranger of the Dales, hereby call a gathering of the Rangers of the Wylds! All rangers are welcome, regardless of age, faith, or experience. Hopeful ranger should attend in order to mingle with others of their calling, and to learn more about walking the ways of the forest.

There will be a test of skill with a bow and/or blade, with the winner receiving a special prize of a magical nature. Secondary and tertiary prizes will be given out as well.

The meeting will be held at Markana's new residence, if you need assistance in locating him, feel free to contact myself or another ranger.

OOC: Any ranger, new or old, is welcome to attend. This is not a faith event. I would love to see some of the much older rangers attend, if at all possible. Suggestions on the best way to accomplish an archery contest are welcome. Feel free to send me a message here or contact me either ICly or OOCly in game. Can't wait to see everyone there!

This is a proposed time. I would *REALLY* like to get an eclectic group, and I am thoroughly flexible on times. Please give me some suggestions!

Sounds like a lovely gathering sadly Ver'que will be unable to attend that day. I'm not even sure if I can manage fashionably late.

I hope to break Faye out for this, schedule pending! :) It's a long way off so no real way to say!

I shall be there!! Pending schedule as well. Might be out of town that weekend unless we go the weekend before. This looks like fun

I could push it back 2 or 3 hours if it will work better for anyone. Of course we'll wait until it gets closer for when people have a better idea of their schedule. There is already quite a bit of interest, so I'm getting excited!

Thanks to everyone who showed up! It was a lot of fun (Even if the competitions were a little poorly run on my part).

All in all, it was a blast, and I believe the rangers would like the idea of bringing back the title of Warden, ideally just as a position of honor. I will post a notice on the Ardeep board soon.

And thanks as well to the kind fellow who left the pirate skins as an added drama and exciting ending to the gathering. We tracked him to Icewind Dale, but found he had 'word of recall'ed away.

RE: Warden - feel free to post an application with an idea for an event to name one. I have been plotting a Myrmiddon event myself. The staff will review/discuss your ideas and work with you if we feel like it would run well!
