Dhedluk bow scabbard doesn't hold a bow

I bought a bow scabbard in Dhedluk and it won't hold a bow.

The item in questions is:
a leather bow scabbard with decorative stitching (perfect)

When I try to put a bow in it I get this:
Only weapons go in sheaths.

I have seen this happen before and I know it is deliberate for most sheaths/scabbards, but this object is sold as being specifically for a bow with a matching description. I am guessing it needs a tweak to change the weapon it will hold from standard to bows only.

Ignore me, I did the search I should have done first and it will work with the sheath command, just not by putting it in there. Le sigh.
