Hi I recently attempted the quest in the new quest in the<redacted>. Was going to kill the <redacted> and came up on <redacted>. He asked if I wanted to hear what he had to say and I said yes then he asked for my help and I said no. Went on and killed the<redacted>but came back to the druids and they say I have betrayed them so I cannot finish the quest. Here is my qlog:
<redacted>
Even if you say yes to hearing what <redacted>has to say and don't accept his quest it still puts you in as betraying the druids.

I just tested this and he is correct. It fails you if you say yes the first time.
I went back and looked at the code and it seems that this is how we set it up. If the evil guy asks you if you will hear his proposal, it fails you for the good side. Should I change this to only fail you if you actually agree to his proposal?
On second looks, this is screwy. Fixing now.

Fixed on the test port. Took away the fail for the good side upon agreeing to hear his proposal. Also added a check for saying no to the proposal. Saying no to the proposal will now make him ask you if you will agree now if you enter again after saying no. This should fix this problem with this part of the quest.
It is correct on the test port now and will need to be made live on the game port when possible.

He needs another wee look. When you are asked to deal with him, he does his spiel and goes to attack you then nothing happens. When you try to kill him, he asks if you're feeling brave but no combat starts. The only way to initiate combat is to use a spell/prayer/skill like kick. After he's dead the qlog updates as it should.

I know this was fixed before...I will have another look at it.
I am not able to get this to happen on the test port...do you remember what exactly your qlog was when it messed up?

It's the last step in the quest where you are asked to go and deal with him.
To be clear, it doesn't stop the quest from progressing, you just need to use something else to initiate combat and make the killing blow besides the usual "kill so and so".
