I noticed that Gensai, and Aasimars (I assume Tieflings, too) are not getting dark vision. Canon has them being able to have darkvision, (one of the offsets to ELC, among other things) Since the ELC is being fully enforced, it would nice if the offsets are also being utilized. Special abilities seem odd, too. The Earth Gensai can detect buried once a day, for a super super short time. I am not sure what benefit that gives the Gensai, as the time duration is so short for a once per day usage that it is rather for window dressing. In Cannon, they get a damage reduction ability, which is a very definite positive benefit to the ELC. At the very least, in addition to providing dark vision to plane touched, the duration of invoked abilities, and perhaps some of the abilities themselves might need to be re-evaluated a bit.

I have seen in game that both tieflings and aasimars have got darkvision.

My aasimar and fire genasi both have it.

My planetouched alts have it.

I just tested this again and now I am seeing darkvision on my Aasimar. I guess I was just seeing things...

With Darkvision, from what I can tell, it only comes up on your affected list if you are actually in the dark. If there is a light in the room or the sun is up it won't show.

If you are in a light room and a dark room is beside you it still triggers to be able to see when you look in that direction.

Neither Dirhara nor my drow have ever had darkvision in their affected list.

That is accurate. Darkvision only shows up as Dkv in the affected section when there is no sun or any other source of light.

That applies to drow as well, at least when in Menzo, since there is almost no room there that is not lit in some way.

Nope, even in dark rooms I've never seen it.

That is, presumably, due to how the code sets up inside sections of cities, in general. A suggestion herefor would be to change the rooms so they would be dark, although it might just be a small cosmetic thing that the drow populace can probably live with

I've never seen darkvision on my affected list regardless of where I am. It always has worked on the races its supposed to though.
