Kick & Punch

Post by Parsley » Sat Sep 05, 2015 8:22 am

Rather than having their actual questionable use it could be something like:

Kick: The target gets an opportunity attack from all the members of the aggressor character's party.

Punch: An attack that has increased chance to break a spellcaster's concentration.

*Edited:

Also kick could work like the 3.5 trip maneuver which is also sort of party friendly.

Good idea. Kick and punch are pretty useless as of now.

That seems logical, realistically any kick is going to be a low one.

It would add a more tactical element to warriors which I have always felt is missing. Perhaps even give us a methodology for dealing with multiple opponents at once.

Punch used to force a concentration check on Wizards, and was used craftily back in the day. However, Concentration does not seem to be working as it should these days, with nearly a 100% success rate even at apprentice.
Seek ye victory? Ye shall eventually find defeat.
Seek ye defeat? Ye shall most certainly find it.
Seek ye nothing? Then all ye can find is victory.
