If you take a metal grinder and a lump of metal, you can grind it. If you grind silver, you get silver powder. If you grind iron, you get iron powder. If you grind any other metal, it yields two pinches of gem dust.

Breaking the grind command up into grindgem, grindore, and grindingot.

After playing with this a bit, it is still broken. grindingot works as intended. Grindgem and grindore do not work. grindore does not recognizeind any metal you are holding and grindgem just gives you a Huh?

Could you elaborate what you did more specifically? All these progs appear to work when tested. They have not been changed other than their trigger phrases being separated out. Only silver, iron, and shining pink gems will grind.

Hmmm...that may be the problem them. Before it was any mined gem was able to grind into gem powder. And I was using iron ore and iron ingots for the metal testing.
Maybe an echo for them that you do not have the correct items when you try it? I was holding a mined sapphire and tried grindgem and it just gave me a huh? The ingot worked fine but the ore said you need to hold the piece of metal you want to use. And it was the only metal I had out.

The programs are not on the grinder, but the objects themselves. You are welcome to write a more comprehensive version of it though.
