Without spilling IC info which are the reasons for you to choose a hometown from another hometown ? (besides a particular liking of that particular region)
More or less I figure the hometowns like:
Silverymoon: Scholastic characters and also "Nordish" characters.
Waterdeep: Pretty much everyone and also "Nordish" characters.
Westgate: Roguish characters and ruffians.
Shadowdale: Adventurers by trade.
Zhentil Keep: Evil characters who choose to be evil.
Skull Port: Evil characters which were born in an evil culture.
