status and a request

HI all,

First off, I haven't given up on Cilah or other characters, or the game. We had company on and off for a while, and now we've got another situation that's taken my attention, which brings me to the second part of this post.

My roommate, who plays Arienne, has a Seeing Eye dog as do I. Her dog had to have emergency surgery the other day due to an obstruction in her stomach and intestines. The special vet where she's staying is about a $25 cab ride from here one way. For those who don't know, we're on disability and it's making things very stressful for us between vet bills, transportation, and all the other stuff that goes with it.

So if I'm not on for a while, I'm probably trying to help take care of the pup when she gets back and scrambling to try to figure out how to cover the bills. She has a go fund me page, if anyone is able to give. Even if not, sharing the link and prayer support is more than appreciated. I hope that Sita recovers quickly! I mentioned this to my wife (who works for a charity for people and volunteers with a number for dogs); she mentioned that there may be a charity to cover medical expenses for service dogs. Hope that helps!
