I noticed that barkskin as cast by a level 16 ranger with inept in the spell-skill gives no bonus at all to the natural armour. It only gives the condition in the affected menu and when one looks at the character but nothing else.
After training up to novice I've got now a +1 to natural armour.
I think probably the minimum should be +1 in any case and not just 0 for very low level in the spell?

Re: [spell]Barkskin giving no bonus
Thank you for reporting this. This spell has been changed to ensure a minimum Natural AC of +1 results from it, and this should be active on the game port soon.
Re: [spell]Barkskin giving no bonus
Is there anyway to make this a +2 min to more fall in line with 3.5? I know they have it setup to grant the total of +5 as your skill goes up rather than level. But with a ranger having to grind the spell up to make it useful just to have a feature that's supposed to go with the class is tedious and takes away from the class.Barkskin toughens a creature’s skin. The effect grants a +2 enhancement bonus to the creature’s existing natural armor bonus. This enhancement bonus increases by 1 for every three caster levels above 3rd, to a maximum of +5 at caster level 12th.
The enhancement bonus provided by barkskin stacks with the target’s natural armor bonus, but not with other enhancement bonuses to natural armor. A creature without natural armor has an effective natural armor bonus of +0.
