How Old is Your PC?

Walk with me for a minute...

Every in-game hour is about 5 minutes, every in-game day is about two hours (5 x 24/60), every in-game month is about 2.5 days (2 x 30/24), every in-game year is 30 days (2.5 x 12).

So how old is your PC really?

For example, I created Harroghty in July 2004. Let's say he was 18 upon creation. So he's been around for 4,214 days in the real world and about 140 in game years ...making him a venerable 158 years old.

Mers is some 42 years old, Yemin some 36 and Xand is still young and fresh at 23
Somehow I felt Mers was much older than that..., It feels like i've been playing him for decades.

As for my others... i genuinely can't remember when I created them exactly

Beskytter is now into his mid 50s ~ 55/56. I've kept track of it rather well so that I could RP him in a new way after coming back from hiatus.

Eyolf is now into his early 40s. Haven't kept as strong a track on it but then he's basing his age on seasonal changes rather than calendars.

Athyros is new and only 23 after his latest birthday.

The others are all fairly new now, so they tend to be between 18 - 26 yro depending on the feel I'm going for.

I would argue it's actual in-game hours that count, by the above metric. Raona has 2800, which would make her 3 years and 10 months older than when she started out. Eh, I was hoping I'd like that better than working forwards from her creation date (Jul 22, 2005 => 3845 days => 128 years beyond her start age), but it feels just as wrong. =) She's 28, dag nabbit!

Nearra created in 2004 would also be a lovely 158.
Charissa made in 2006, brings her out to be 133 years young.

Lirith is about 99 years old (created in November 2007, I think). It explains a lot of the grumpiness. Shh, no, she wasn't just the same when she was 20, no sir.

Let me see here... I'll go with Daerin, since he's my main. I made him in Dec 2005, that's 3,711 Days old. 3711/30 = 123.7 years...

I RP'd him as starting out as 120 years old, so I suppose his true age is 243 years old at this point.

Now I feel old.

I made Andreas in 2000 or 2001 but I did take a somewhat extended break from playing FK. If we count all that time (I'll say 15 years) since IC he went to Maztica when I wasn't playing FK... and if I'm not a total failure at math... he's 198 years old give or take a few months.

Anyone else remember when age was actually reported on Score sheets? It was always cool knowing that you were a 129 year old human, fighting dragons with a broadsword and shield.
