Wheel of Time series

Post by Mattrik » Tue Mar 22, 2016 11:31 pm

I saw in the other thread on books someone talking about good ole' Jordan and his many books. Well, my character Mattrik has ties to Matrim Cauthon.... I took Matt and Hat trick and kept Kothin for the name. Never hurts to be more lucky than good... :)

Even as much as I love this series. My first characters on my first mud were straight takes from FF12 and I think most of my characters have always been inspired more from games than books.

Not sure why that should be since I read far more than I console game.
I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!

Bwahahaha! I love this!

Also, due to prompting from friends, I started/finished reading the Wheel of Time series just as the last few books were in production. While I don't remember much about the middle books (It all kind of blurred together there), I enjoyed seeing the world from so many different perspectives. And that moment, with the apple trees, near the end of the series... Yeah, not sure I can go in to much detail without major spoilers....
