A Wizard's Gathering

Archmage and guide to Lord kelemvor's flock Areia Cindrael sends open invitation to current and prospective goodly and neutral practitioners of the arcane arts to join with others of similar mind and interest, to discuss various aspects of the path of wizardry.

This gathering will hopefully give novice and unguilded wizards a chance to meet and perhaps form long-term acquaintences with some of the more experienced members of the wizarding community. We'll speak on topics ranging from the pros and cons of specializing and of each specialization in turn, to a wizard's role in combat formations, to how best to begin your studies as an arcanist, and whatever else happens to come up. It is also hoped that this might serve to open up more constructive debate/communication among wizards regarding things like what, if anything, should be done about current practices and views on scholarship, the value of wizardly services, mastering and apprenticing, and so forth.

We shall meet within the School of Wonder's library at the below time. Food and drink to be provided by Areia.
OOC: Looking at either Friday, 22 April or the day after. Interested peoples, let me know what times work best for you, and I'll see about setting this to get the most attending. No obvious or well-known evils will be welcome.

Also, if enough interest is observed, I'd very much like to make this a regular (maby monthly) thing with different things to do/discuss at each gathering. We'll see!

Sadly my personal comp is caput

I see about getting it fixed by then, but will let you know a couple days before if I can make it. This means I will almost definitely miss the feast of the moon as well.

My apologies.

It's looking like maybe another time might be good?

(P.S., this message not meant for the two who've already replied [thank you for doing so!])

I'll do my best to attend! Any chance to expand my wizardly knowledge is always well received. Good Luck getting everything set up Miss Areia!

I'm thinking 8:00 pm EST on Saturday 23 April.

Post or PM if that's not good for people.

Sorry guys, but my down key decided to not to work and my space bar decided to start acting like a down key at around 80% of presses so I started pasting spaces then my control key decided to start acting like my alt key. I think someone in the house must've spilt something on it because I don't download anything on that machine.

On a related note, if someone could give me a play by play of how to install tintin on a MAC OS 10 I would be more than grateful so i could leave PCs behind forever.

WOTC wrote: Tis time to bring forth mages mighty to pour from the cup of knowledge. With these waters, wash away the sins of ignorance and disinterest to render the sword coast a greater place of understanding.
Mersgrave the wizard of the coast will be making himself available to teach all those interested in learning about the veiled arts behind brewing. To appraise warriors of the pains of their creation that they might learn and use magic more responsibly. Faith enemies of kelemvor aren't welcome. Personal enemies are.

To be held this saturday at 20:00 East coast time. this means Mers will be arriving at 19:45 and the adventure proponent of this event will depart strictly at 20:05 and should last some 40 minutes. short and sweet with possibly a potion or two given out at the end with younger PCs prioritized.
