Teaching Lapidary

Post by Lorelie » Sat May 07, 2016 4:28 am

I am attempting to teach lapidary, a trade that I am a GM in. I meet the minimum requirements in intelligence, wisdom, and charisma.
I get the message:
Only (more) advanced scholars can teach that.

But as far as I can see I should be able to teach. Is this a bug or is there something wrong with me?

You need the scholar feats to be able to teach this trade, though I am not sure if you need one or both. Kaden has both of them and has been able to teach it since he was at expert level.

Without the scholar feats you won't be able to teach anything higher than a level 20 skill for your class. I would guess this means lapidry is above that level.
I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!
