Setting Pagelength when VT is already off

I turned off VT because MUSHclient isn't handling it properly. Pagelength is the command, but it doesn't seem to be working. I basically want to set the Pagelength to 100 or so for when I do a List on a vendor I don't have to hit return several times. It's rather annoying when trying to carry on a chat while shopping and when you type your message and hit return you just get another 20 lines of vendor product and no message.

The right command is "pager". The helpfile seems to be outdated.

To set pagelenght of 100 simply type: pager 100
