Magical Theory Competition
Posted: Fri Jan 06, 2017 6:48 pm
Good day to everyone. I, Ailyn Zephyr, am proud to announce the Magical Theory
Competition, a contest to see who can come up with the best argument over a topic of
their choice revolving around the Weave. This contest is open to all, though having
knowledge in magic itself will be of much more benefit in helping support your theory.
The contest begins immediately, and will continue until (Midnight CST, January 28th).
All who wish to submit are asked to send your writings by mail to me directly by the
deadline to ensure entry. Once this period has passed, no new submissions will be
accepted and judging will begin.
As for the Guidelines for the contest, they are as follows:
1. One submission per person
2. The topic must relate in some way to the Weave. Example of this are:
Item Enchantment, A single spell, Sphere/School of Magic, Creatures of the Weave
3. There is no minimum/maximum length required, though be reasonable
4. Your topic should be on something you know or have studied much about, so
as that you can provide enough arguement for what you are speaking about,
either in favor of the subject, against it, why it should or should not
be, etc.
5. Judging will be held by myself and perhaps others should some be inclined
to do so. The writer of the best one will receive a custom made reward
crafted by me. Runner-ups will receive a prize as well, and all
submissions will be entered into a book at a later date.
