Dranso Baenre hereby announces a grand tournament of warriors to honor our most beloved goddess, the Spider Queen. This tournament will showcase the strength of Her warriors as well as test the prowess of each competitor. The winner will be awarded a chest full of wondrous treasures and earn the prestigious title of Lord Champion. After the tournament concludes, a festival will be held to venerate the winner and pay homage to Lolth. Both the tournament and the festival will be held within the Underdark Institute, Haroloth-Magthere in Skullport.

Seating is open to any who wish to travel to Skullport and witness the excellence and glory of the Drow. Priestesses of Lolth will be offered separate seating and afforded any luxury they desire. Only full blooded Drow will be allowed to enter the tournament. Any Drow considered to be a commoner may buy their way into the contest for twenty five platinum. Drow of noble descent may enter free of charge.

The only combat rules:
*Contestants will duel until one is rendered unconscious.
*Contestants may not receive ensorcellments in the form of spells or potions from the audience.
*Contestants may not quaff potions before or during the duel.

This is a great opportunity to brush the dust off your Drow and have a little fun! There is no level requirement but be aware that there will be high level players participating. If you can, please RSVP via pm or in game.

The time, date and location are not set in stone so if they need to be tweaked with please let me know so I can best accommodate everyone.

Duranamir, the master merchant and smith, has pledged to provide the winner of the contest with a masterwork adamantine weapon of their choosing. The weapon will be crafted in the memory of the great warrior Solaghar and made in reverence to Lolth. Duranamir has outfitted and supplied the most elite, feared and respected Drow the world has ever known. If you win such a weapon, what will they say about you then? Come to the tournament, fight like Drow, honor Lolth, achieve victory, and become the elite!

I don't have a warrior, but it would still be fun to have some rp with little Valfein. Unfortunately this is very early on the morning that I will leave for a visit... though technically before that. I will try to attend, but can't promise anything.

Thanks to everyone who showed up! It was a good time and a good mix of people. Unfortunately there wasn't enough warriors for the tournament so look for that portion coming soon. I will try to make it at a better time and a more accessible place.
