You find a scrap of parchment tucked under a strap on your pack that reads:
"You are summoned to the palace. Assemble your party and present yourselves
to Lord Piergieron with the utmost urgency. Ensure that you have made any
preparations prior to arrival."
Important OOC Information (please read this carefully)
The background is that you will pilot a skyship to the Banemoon with the objective of establishing a landing stage on the moon. IC, this is a top secret mission sponsored by Lord Piergieron who has summoned your group to attempt to steal the skyship from Lord Rasavir and reach the moon. You can assume that your PC has received the secret missive above for the purpose of this.
Any group that forms to carry out this mission can assume that they have been asked to do this by Lord Piergieron but they must NOT discuss this IC with any person not in their group. The reason for this is to give everyone a chance to experience the mission, but it does not make sense IC for ten groups to all be doing the same thing and making that public, so they will each perform the mission independently.
- Groups of 5 to 6 people. Note that if you have more than 6, you may find that the skyship leaves people behind when it moves. They will be picked up again but it can be tricky so maximum of 6 is recommended for this reason.
- A minimum of one wizard and cleric will be required per group. Recommended to also include at least one fighter.
- Each PC can only be in ONE group.
- Do not attempt to undertake this alone. You will die.
- This is a difficult, high-level mission with challenging monsters. It is strongly not recommended for low level PCs.
- The entire mission is very long and you are not required to complete all in one session. There are checkpoints at several stages throughout and your group can break at these and login later to continue. IMM support will be available to assist with continuation after checkpoints if needed.
- This is not a dungeon as we might normally refer to an area in FK. It's more like an instance in an MMO which means that it's not somewhere your PC will repeatedly visit or go to train.
Sign up by sending a pm to Talos with the members of your group and proposed times of availability.
