And so, Ailyn is happy to announce another Mystran Auction.

This is a good way to clear out some of those unnecessary magical items you may have stored about and earn some coin, and for others to perhaps find an item to aide in future adventures.

Those wishing to submit items to the auction are encouraged to send them to Ailyn via the post before (Saturday, December 2nd) to be included. To submit items, please include your name on the box so that they may be kept track of and organized properly. Multiple boxes are allowed, so if you find items during the time frame, you may send those as well. All items will be identified by myself for accuracy, and enchantments will be listed in the posting of the items. Please limit 10 items per person for the auction, though random potions/wands/scrolls do not count as they will go to a separate auction.

If you wish, when you submit your items to the auction, you may include a starting bid for your items. This way, if you are submitting an item that you think is worth at least a certain amount normally and fear not receiving much, you can set your starting price. Please keep in mind, if you set it too high, you might not get any bids either.

On (Saturday, December 2nd) the listings of all items will be posted for all to begin bidding on. The bidding period will last until (Thursday, December 14th). To submit a bid, please send a letter to Ailyn with the following information:

Name: So, I know who is bidding on what
ID #: Without this, I will not be able to tell what item you are bidding on.
Bid : How much your bid is

Without all three things, your bid will be void. No coin is to be sent during this period, only the bids. The list will be updated periodically with new bid amounts until the closing date. At the end of the bidding cycle, letters will be sent to each bidder on what they have won and the total amount owed. Show this letter to Ailyn along with payment to collect your items at any time after bidding ends. You may also send payment via the mail, and I will send the items to you by mail, for those that cannot catch me in person.

Rules for Bidding:
1. Bids are to be made in platinum and gold pieces only.
2. For every 10 platinum that is bid upon an item, the church will take 1 platinum.
Example= Item #1 ends with bid of 57 platinum, 2 gold. The church will take 5 platinum pieces and you will get 52 platinum, 2 gold.
3. You may bid multiple times on the same item until the closing date. Only the highest bid will be listed in the postings.
4. Bid Fairly!
5. In case of a tie for an item, the first bid will be the one honored.
6. Names will not be listed with bids. Only the amounts for each bid.
7. There will be 2 postings, one here(OOC: For the enchantment values of the items as well as the current bids) and one on the message boards in the cities(For the exact look of each item)
8. Any items not bid upon will be returned to their owners via mail.
9. Again, please limit items sent to 10 per person. (Not per RL person, but per character)

The auction is available to anyone, as long as they are not of evil heart or in some way an enemy of Mystra's church.

After the auction is done, the church of Mystra will be preparing for a Winterfest Ball (Most likely on Saturday, December 23rd at this point, it may change). Any who are not enemies of the faith are welcome to come and enjoy themselves with food, games, and music provided by Silverstar Lorelie. Would Thursday the 21st be better then for people? Please, feel free to post here on which of those two days work best, I would like as many to be about as possible.

Also, 2 more days for getting your bids in for the auction. COME ON PEOPLE, SEND THAT STUFF IN FOR THE GOOD OF THE PEOPLE!!!!

Where are the bids listed, and the items?

They will be posted on the 2nd, when all items have been gathered. <.<

While it is not assured, the 21st is not an option for me as I will be at work. The 23rd is my choice.

I’d prefer the 23rd but the 21st works for me too.

Alright, I will be closing up the entering of bids here in roughly 6 hours (That will be 4PM CST), so you still have some time to get those items in. I am at 24 as of this moment, so there is plenty of room for more to be added if someone wishes! Once I am done, I will finalize the list and have it posted for everyone.

Closing time for bids is 12 Hours from now, so please make sure you get those bids in. AT 11 PM CST, I will no longer accept bids and will begin with getting things out to people

Yep....but, even 1 gold it is legitimate.

I hope whoever bid that is playing to their alignment and is chaotic evil, haha. (I’m kidding. That’s some Price is Right level stuff right there.)
