The Gauntlet of Skulls is a treacherous menagerie of malicious monsters that will test a true adventurer’s skill, cunning, and dedication. While an adventurer may believe they are capable of tackling such a tremendous task alone, the formation of groups is encouraged if one wishes to reach the end alive. The Gauntlet of Skulls will be segmented into various stages of increasing difficulty employing a diverse range of monsters that will most certainly push even the most experienced adventurer to the breaking point. Do you have what it takes to conquer The Gauntlet? House Baenre has carefully selected horrors from its bestiary and has shipped the menagerie to Skullport for you to find out.

Any, but goodies be advised that this event is in Skullport, hosted by Drow, and will involve you killing a lot of things.

Zeth could make an appearance, however I wonder if travel accommodations may be possible for surfacers to get down there? Last I heard UD was on lock. Or at the least ill advised due to some characters crashing the game when traveling the wilds.

There's a safe mean to reach skullport now, albeit a bit costly, but as it'll be a high-level event, most PCs won't have trouble having the coin. I will certainly be there, just don't know yet with which character.

Portals to Skullport will be provided during the event just outside of Waterdeep and Zhentil Keep.

Monsters all, right? Or will specifics be left to surprise?

I ask only because I would love to join, but Raelikh wouldn't have any hand in killing, like, babies or something. Surprises are fine, I'll just plan to take means to return home quickly in case lol.

The specifics will be a surprise, yes. However, they will be creatures designed to test your prowess. So probably no babies

P.S.
Time permitting, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to switch up groups/spells/tactics and run through the gauntlet multiple times.

Had a great time, Dranso! It was so cool the slew of monsters that was thrown at the contestants. Hoping something like this is in the works for another time, too
