Slavers brand quest

Howdy
I am not sure if it is a bug or not but I am doing a quest
My Qlog states the following on Dreen:-
Deliver a slave branding iron to Kenth the rake
Now, I am unsure if ____ was supposed to have given me one or if I need to go find one? When you re-visit the room it says "See the Brand to Kenth the Rake" This kind of suggests I should have it?
As stated, not sure if this is a bug in that I havent received the brand I was supposed to or whether or not I need to go find one. If I need to go find one a narrative to suggest as such might be an idea?
