Starvation Festivities Prelim

Need to get a sponsor for the Starvation Festivities, but don't know anyone in the Deep? Look no further than the Starvation Festivities Prelim battle!
The church of Cyric is organizing a preliminary tournament and feast at the Dripping Dagger, in Waterdeep. We'll use the area between the tavern and the stables to hold spars between any contestants of the Starvation Festivals who wish to participate, and sponsors are encouraged to come and scout out potentials for themselves. For those who can't be there in person a score of victories and losses will be tallied and posted afterwards.
After the spars are concluded we'll be holding an optional all-out brawl in the City of the Dead, only for those participants of the Starvation Festivities who wish to take part. Unlike the spars, this fight will be to the death. All participants will enter the City of the Dead with equipment provided by the church of Cyric, and only one living victor will emerge. Unlike the actual festivities, the dead WILL be raised after this fight, so you can think of it as a test of your various strategies.
This is the tentative date and time for the event. If it proves unpopular, it can certainly be changed:
