Every year fine wines are created throughout the realms. Some of them end up
being consecrated by Loviatar's clergy and thus get used in her holy rituals.
However, only the best wines are good enough to serve this noble purpose. To
find out which of this year's wines is worthy, the church of Loviatar will
hold a grand wine tasting at the Barbed Whip temple southwest of Westgate.
If you own a winery or are a merchant selling wines, you are welcome to enter
your best wine into the tasting. For this send 10 bottles of your wine to
Amira Syria (or have it delivered to her in the Barbed Whip temple personally).
For the tasting itself, all souls except those of opposing faiths are welcome
to participate. Noble or commoner, rich or poor, it does not matter, all are
welcome and all will be allowed to taste the wines.
At the end everybody gets to pick his or her favorite wine and the wine with
the most votes will be chosen to be used in Loviatar's rituals throughout the
year. If this wine has been entered by someone, this person will receive a bag
full of platinum coins in addition to the great honor of providing a wine for this
great purpose.
Faithful of Loviatar are highly encouraged to attend and enlighten
our guests with stories about our great Maiden of Pain.
A reminder: this is a social event. And while we all enjoy the feeling of a blade cutting through skin, fighting is not allowed. Clothes are preferred over armor.
If you have any questions, please contact Amira Syria, chosen of Loviatar, in person, via amulet or magical post.

Grand Loviatan Wine Tasting
Re: Grand Loviatan Wine Tasting
It has been decided that a mulled wine found in Westgate tastes the best. Orders have been placed and clerics of Loviatar will make sure bottles of it will be consecrated and used for rituals in Loviatar's name.
Amira Syria would like to thank those who came to taste the wine - their opinions about the wines were appreciated and taken into consideration.
May the full flavor of the spices, honey and wine of the chosen wine please the Maiden of Pain in the rituals to come.
