Weave and Warfare: A forum on wizard combat
Posted: Sun Sep 16, 2018 10:11 pm
Adventuring can be dangerous, especially for those of the wizards trade- for many have led lives unaccustomed to the rage of battle. Which leads to these apprentice weavers being thrust into conflict with little to no combative training, save for the brief course in the School of Wonder. Worse yet, there are many warriors who don't know how to best work with and support their spellslinging companions. Sir Stigr of Mystra seeks to remedy this by holding a forum for wizards, warriors, clerks and rogues alike to attend and add their thoughts as he presents a framework of curriculum to have its merits picked apart and discussed.
The Church of Mystra invites you to attend at the Fields of Triumph in Waterdeep, offer your wisdom, listen, take notes as you wish. There will be demonstrations of certain tactics by request as topics arise.
Flavor text aside:
The exceptions for attendees are enemies of Mystra's church and those who actively perform corpse animation. (Sorry, evil guys and gals D: )
It will be held on the 29th of September at 5pm pst, feel free to drop in and drop out as you like. It's going to be more of a long form conversation that anyone in attendance may take part in.
