Festival of Lights

Post by Skylar » Sun Dec 09, 2018 3:41 pm

The Church of our Lord Lathander invites all who are not enemies to attend the Festival of Lights at the Spires of the Morning! A celebration of light and life that will shine through the city and will have people leaving brighter than they were when they arrived. This event will take place on the Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year, and together we shall make the Spires glow and light the city until dawn!
Alongside guests for this event, we hope to see bards, clerics, wizards, and illusionists perform radiant displays of light and magic, and would like to invite people to bring what arts they believe will brighten the souls of others- be it through music or paint, or another craft. Prizes will be awarded for crowd favourites for both light displays and the arts.

OOC: I would love to see people think outside the box and do some really cool light shows! OOCly this might be a bit holidayesque so wear your sweaters and bring your gifts for friends and family if you'd like!
