Tymoran teacher, Shevir Waugh, is organizing a magical faire with the support
of the Tymoran church. The church will compensate anyone willing to
participate and teach during the faire. We are looking for teachers of all
magical skills and spells. Teachers will be free to teach whomever they wish,
and free to deny lessons to whomever they wish. They will also be able to
charge for their lessons on top of the compensation they receive from the
church.

The faire will be an all day, or several day (depending on the number of
volunteers) event. Once you have agreed to teach and we have a date in mind
for the faire (Probably sometime toward the end of July?), you will specificy
what times you are available for the lessons. We are looking for all
teachers, even if you can only share via scrolls. If you do teach via scroll,
you will still be asked to provide a lesson on the spell or prayer you are
providing.

We are looking for teachers for all spells and prayers but additional
compensation will be provided if you can teach teleporting, or arcane eye. If
there is another rare spell you may offer, additional compensation will be
added for those as well. Compensation will be in the form of a trade of
spells or skills, or coin. This event will be open to everyone so long as you
are not an enemy to Tymorans. The event will be held outside of Waterdeep,
most likely in Westgate.

Please contact Professor Shevir Waugh, or Luckbringer Niccele Galuchin if you
are interested in participating. Also please let us know if there are any
particular spells you are interested in, and we will do our best to seek out
teachers for those spells.

Woo! We have had quite a few teachers already showing interest in joining in. So if you are interested in teaching at the faire, please provide to either Shevir or Niccele:
A list of what you wish to teach, your requirements/restrictions for the lesson, and your price for the lesson. We are going to make this a three day event, and each lesson will be given at least a 30 minute slot. You may also let Shevir and Niccele know when you want to sign up to teach (Please let me or Shevir know via PM, or in game.)

The Fair will take place all day from July 27th, thru all day July 29th.

UPDATE!!

Due to all of the volunteers from our teachers we are going to extend the duration of the faire! We will be adding one day to the beginning and one day to the end. The Faire will now run from July 26th to July 30th.

If you have not selected your times, please do so soon so people can make plans to attend the lessons that they seek! If you have already selected your times but the added days work better for you or you wish to add new times, let us know! Woo!

Woo! The fair begins tomorrow!! The fair will be held in the plains Southeast of Waterdeep, West of Daggerford. We have over a dozen different lessons on the schedule with some of the lessons being rare and hard to find! Don't miss out! If you are a teacher and have not scheduled a lesson at the fair, you are more than welcome to come to the fair at any point when there is not a scheduled lesson and offer a lesson yourself. Merchants are also encouraged to come show off any magical themed wares. Magical trinkets, armor, weapons, components...are all welcome!

Throughout the duration of the fair, Tymorans and select friends will be about offering spontaneous lessons as well. If you show up, there is no telling what you might be lucky enough to find!

Also, at this time, if you plan to attend any lessons, it is time to begin letting teachers know so they can prepare appropriately!

Remember, all teachers are free to teach whomever they wish and to deny whomever they wish for any reason. If you are asked to leave, do so without complaint. Trouble-makers will be forcibly removed. (OOC: You are welcome to try your luck and see if someone is willing to teach you, but please no trouble-making. If you are asked to go, please go. Harass us later!)

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Althasizor will teach chain lightning for a fee of twenty three silver. Hats are mandatory so long as they are not red.

*Mystran mage Zhiynet will be about offering arcane potions for sale for the price of two platinum a piece.

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Zhiynet will give a brief lecture on the Weave before offering lessons on Major Image, True sight, and Illusory Pit. She accepts donations for payment and will not teach anyone that is an enemy to the Mystran faith. If time permits, she may offer lessons on additional spells.

Woo! We are going to have to reschedule the lesson that was supposed to be yesterday, but the fair is off to a good start so far. A lot of knowledge has been exchanged and new friends made! Remember, you might be surprised at the knowledge you find if you come when there is no scheduled lesson!

Tonight there will be lessons on chain lightning, brewing, the precision forge (transportation to the forge will be provided), alchemy, and astral walk!

Yesterday was a pretty big success! Everyone get ready because there are more lessons scheduled for today. There will be first a lesson on the Weave given by Zhiynet, followed by lessons on major image, illusory pit, true sight, summon monster 5, and polar ray.

Lots of knowledge is being shared outside of these lessons to, so be sure to see if someone at the fair can help!

The fair is officially over. Thank you to all of the people who put in all of the hard work. It was very much appreciated.

If anyone missed any of the lessons, don't forget who was teaching at the fair. We had some great people and you should be able to find someone who can point you in the right direction.
