As many of you know, I'd really like to see more evil/non-evil interactions.
In the past I have already tried to spread some pain (see here) and I am going to try again. Nominating victims didn't work last time so this time I am calling for volunteers.

Would you be alright with your character having been nominated by "someone" and have a player character come after you to bring you some pain?
If so, please send me the full name by which your character is publicly known. Can be here, on Discord (I'm Siria there) or even in game through some OOC means.

The pain the painbringers attempt to bring can be of any type, but I do trust that players communicate with each other so that it doesn't go further than anyone is comfortable with.

At some point in February there will be a meeting for those who intend to bring the pain. Amira will hand out letters with the names of the volunteer-victims. Maybe with some made-up story why that character deserves pain (you can also volunteer a story for this. Maybe a quest gone wrong? A shunned lover? The keeper of the Inn that you drunkenly trashed one too many times?). ICly those stories don't even have to be true, after all someone could have lied to make the crazy Lovites want to hurt that character
After this meeting people will fly out into the world, trying to find their volunteer-victim and deliver the pain. This phase will probably last around 3 weeks, to give everyone enough time to plan and play this out.
Then in March there will be another meeting and the painbringers can tell their tales of how they brought pain or got their ass whopped for trying. There might be a prize for the best story.

I hope by doing it this way we can actually make this happen. Questions, concerns, volunteers, as always, can be brought up to me. Actual times and dates will be decided later.

The church of Loviatar has received knowledge of individuals, who are in need of some pain in their lives.

Of course we cannot let them live pain-free and so I, chosen Truescar Amira Syria, have decided that not only faithful, but also outsiders may be allowed to spread pain to these individuals.

At the time and date noted below we will meet at the Barbed Whip (southwest of Westgate).
You will receive a note with your target and after the meeting is over you will have a couple of weeks to find your target and bring pain in a creative way.
After that we shall meet again and share stories of our pain bringing - and the best one shall win a small price.

I know it is short notice, but I want to get things started.

Please note this is the meeting for the pain spreaders, the volunteers can stay in their comfy little houses.

If you have a last minute volunteer, please let me know. We still have time to include them!

So now we have volunteers (thank you guys!), but nobody was interested in bringing the pain!

I still think this is an opportunity for good rp and maybe even turn into long rivalries.
So if you are interested in bringing pain, contact Amira in game and she will assign you a volunteer.

All over the realms clerics of Loviatar started to accept names of those who are deserving of pain, so Her faithful and allies may go and bring pain in Her name.

Call me crazy, but I still like this whole idea. It simply offers too many opportunities for rp (both short and long term) across the borders of faith, race, alignment and so on. But maybe an event is just not the right way to do it and it should be more of an ongoing thing. Like a service of the church.

So here are the rules:

• If you want one or more of your characters to receive pain, contact me through OOC means (forum, Discord [I'm Siria], otell)

• If you want to bring pain, contact Amira through the usual IC means. You don't have to be a faithful of Loviatar, just not a faith enemy

• if you'd like to nominate someone, contact Amira through IC means. I will contact the player and see if he/she is willing to volunteer

Amira will then match both sides and there can hopefully be fun rp.
Please be mindful of the other player though, not everybody is comfortable with everything and just because they volunteer to be the "victim" doesn't mean they are okay with all sort of rp. Just be good people. And should issues arise or should you have ideas: please let me know.

This is starting now and will be ongoing until I say otherwise.
Unless I'm told otherwise I'll assume the volunteers so far want to stay in the pool of potential victims. Once a character has received their pain, they are out of the pool, but you could throw them back in if you'd like.
