The Purple Haze in Westgate invites YOU to come and drink!
Truescar Amira Syria helps keeping the bar stocked and so we are very able to serve you delicious drinks!
Everyone is welcome, just keep any violence outside the establishment.

As you all know we have been doing this casual event for a little while now and we will continue to do so for now.
Time is 9pm EST, so today this is the time.

In the future we might go on spontaneous "excursions" should enough people be around and be in the mood to bring some evil to the world.

The reason why I opened this thread is so I can let you guys know when Amira won't make it without spamming the casual thread. Of course you can still meet, but Amira's drinks will not be there.

Speaking of times Amira might not be there: this Saturday I have a virtual family thing and depending on how long that takes I might or might not make it .

Tonight there will be no meeting at the Westgate Purple Haze

The reason: there is a beach party going on and I really don't want to compete with other events.
If you want to play FK and be social on the usual Haze time: just find a fitting character and go to the beach party

Short notice, but Amira will not make it to the Purple Haze tonight.
Her player has a serious headache and is barely able to sit up.

It has been brought to my attention that there are some Europeans who might want to mingle at the Haze, but the usual 9pm EDT might be a tiny bit late for them.

So how about doing a special day to give those players a chance as well?

Which days work best for you? And what time?

I was thinking about 7.30 EDT as a middle ground between everyone, but I am open for suggestions. Just let me know what would work for you.

The earlier time is much more preferable, obviously it's still a bit late but it would be nice to see a few more faces about. Whatever day this ends up being on I'll be able to make some time so hopefully there's some interest

7:30EDT is perfect, as far as I'm concerned! Plenty of time to put wife and baby to bed, then sneak off to the pub for a natter and a cheese board.

I'd prefer a Friday or Saturday evening, but I'm honestly easy with any other day.

Thanks to all who made it. However, it seems we were all rather sleepy minded today, so let's repeat this another night with fresher minds.

Short notice, but I don't think I will be able to make it tonight. Family emergency.

My head is killing me today and I doubt I can sit long enough to play FK. So no meeting at the Purple Haze tonight. At least not with Amira.

For those who are curious: yes, this is still a thing.

When I don't fall asleep like today, you can generally expect Amira to be at the Purple Haze between 9pm and 10pm EDT.

I will be unable to attend tonight.
I am still very restless and it is unlikely I can sit tied to my laptop for longer than 10 minutes at a time.

Feel free to socialize without your favorite bringer of pain though!

Just a quick notice:
If you planned to go to the Westgate Purple Haze tomorrow, you will not find Amira there.

The reason: my husband and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary and I just don't know if and when I'll find myself sitting in front of the screen for longer than a short amount of time.

I am sorry for the short notice, but I won't be able to log on today. My brain is rather mush (nothing serious though) and so I doubt I can concentrate on text for longer than five minutes. Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow!

Next week on Monday (October 19th) we will start the morally ambiguous night two hours earlier than normal.
That would be 7pm on the US East Coast.

Reason are our morally ambiguous friends over in Europe, who also deserve a chance to have fun without being up at scary hours.
