Bardfest

Welcome one and all to Bardfest!

Or rather, welcome to the notice that Bardfest is on its way! Bardfest, also known as Bardfestivus in some places, is the time-honoured tradition of enjoying a nice glass of wine and the dulcet tones of some bored pianist while an over-excited bardic student proclaims the merits of their latest masterpiece painting to you all! Or, in other words, it is an exhibition of art of all types: music, painting, writing, acting, sword swallowing, fire juggling, and what have you. Any type of performer at all is welcome to come on down and show their talents to the world! And, as an added incentive, every artist who registers their act with Mya Galuchin before the event starts will get a comission fee of one hundred platinum coins for participating.

For guests there'll be cakes of all shapes and flavours and in between acts we'll be playing fun games like the story circle, where we take it in turns to add a line to an evolving story, or maybe something with dice! There will also be the possibility of winning fabulous prizes: everyone who attends (including performers, of course) will be entered into a raffle to earn a Tymoran Treat Ticket for their troubles. As for expected dress it's at most semi-formal, so come as you like, but we would prefer to see the menacing spiked armour look kept to a minimum if at all possible.

We'll be holding Bardfest on the stage behind the Singing Sword tavern at the following time:

Bear in mind we, of course, would like as many bards to be able to participate as possible, so are therefore quite open to changing the time and/or day if there's a lot of problems with it. Anyways, thanks in advance! There's no theme requirement so we're looking forward to seeing art based on whatever you're all most passionate about.
