OOC...Dear Friends,
The final days of my service to rangers as their Warden is
visible on the path of my life. It no longer rests distantly on
the horizon of my journey, and I begin to see other trails
branching from the crossroads ahead. I continue to meet
with those rangers of yore who have the duty and pleasure
of preparing the Foregatherings that choose new Wardens.
The date of the gathering and the names of the contestants
for Warden will be announced when all of the preparations
are complete. It is my great and sincere hope that all rangers
will come to bear witness to the trials of the contestants and
renew our deep commitment to land and fellowship. Once the
trials are concluded, the greater Foregathering grounds will
open for rangers to engage themselves in friendly competition,
immerse themselves in the companionship of friends new
and old, visit unique traders and attend the training offered
by otherwise reclusive masters. When the Foregathering
concludes, we will relocate to a more common place of peace
in nature so that we and those who are friendly to our ways
might warmly welcome a new Warden.

1. As part of the preparations and as a way to involve more
players, I am actively soliciting ideas for unique items to be
sold in Foregathering shops - this includes exotic ranger pets!
I have been asked to request that you send all ideas for these
things to fkbuilders@lists.skynet.ie
2. The Foregathering is a ranger-only event
3. The shops/trainers/pets/items are meant for rangers only.
4. The celebration afterwards is open to all friendly, non-evil PCs.
