Stun and Bash

Stun and Bash
I am curious as to what the difference between the two skills is, if any? I know that bash requires a shield and that stun requires a blunt weapon, but other than that do they have the same effect when used?

They do different damage types. This will come into play more and more with recent changes that seem to be making their way in.
