Traps: setting and keeping

Hi,

I found recovertrap/settrap recently, and the concept is great. :D

There do seem to be a couple of problems:

1. Once my thief drops a recovered trap to the ground or places it in a container, he can't pick it up or retrieve it without emptying the container... At which point it's on the ground and likewise unretrievable.

2. Setting a trap on a container doesn't seem to do anything. That is, I can still get things from the container normally, open or close it, or examine it without any apparent risk of the trap activating.

Thanks!

The recovered trap is missing a take flag.

As far as I know, this isn't possible, so not a bug..might be something nice to bring up in a game suggestion.

To test this:
1. find or set a trap.
2. Search or use the Find Traps spell, and locate which direction the trap is in.
3. Using the recovertrap command, grab up the newfound trap.

Looks like an area code issue as Moloch said. The problem has been reported to the builders.
