Locate Object and offline characters

I thought it would be alright to go ahead and post names since not everyone can see these posts right off anymore. Go ahead and edit out names if need be before you release it. When casting the locate object spell, I seem to be coming up with items from *a PC's* inventory even when he isn't online.

But I was looking for a bunny hat and used the locate object spell with the word 'ears'
Here is the who list:

Then I was curious as to whether I was just seeing *a PC's* things or if I could scry things that others had as well. So I decided to scry for the silvery-white staffs that were given to the Ardeep rescue rp group. :Cast "locate object" silvery staff

I didn't get any of the other members of that group. And I've seen a couple of them lately with those staffs. I tried a few other items to see if I would get anyone else that was offline, and if I did, it was always *the same PC*.

For some reason I couldn't reply without approving the post first, so I've edited a tiny bit to protect names.

I can't replicate this at all, so I think it's either fixed or was a single instance. I tried this on the game port, as it would be near impossible to reproduce on the test port, and it doesn't show me any offline characters at all.

If anyone is still seeing this, can you please post with details. Otherwise, it will be moved to dead bugs in a few days. Thanks!
