The Reaction of Faiths

Noticing that Favourlevel has a verying ratio from Hated to Loved, is it possible to see within the game people using a reaction check to people based on this? Maybe if people were reacted to by different gods, they would appear on their score, or another list altogether.

Lets say Jonah serves Tempus, and he is Loved by Tempus. (equally hated by Sune) He runs into Gond and Gond blesses him for helping save some of his followers. So he is liked by Gond (disliked by Talos) and lets say that he gets swallowed by a Whale, and decides to kill it to escape. Umberlee could show up and be angry for this, shunned by Umberlee. (tolerated by Selune/Sune/Chauntea(?) and since Sune is already at Hated, it could bump it up to despised.)

So he would have reactions from many gods and their followers instead of the normal one for following a deity, this could also work for people who have no deity, and how people would react to them.

Thanks,

Are you proposing that we have faction points?

When one side goes higher, the opposite of that side would go down.
You help a follower of Gond, your Gond faction points would raise 10 points, or so. All the while, your Talos faction points would drop 15 points.

If this were implemented, it would serve as nice ifchecks for mobs (and/or quests) to see who is wanted around so&so's temple.

Nice idea, and great for RP situations. I only hope that the player could see his list of factions and their current standing.

I think it would be great. I wouldn't know where to begin on codeing the idea but I think it should be looked into. Someone who is a highly favoured member of their god's followers would be hated buy that gods enemies. This would serve as a good way to generate inter-faith relations and rp.

I also think it's a good idea to let gods know how to react to a character. But as for player to player reaction, it might not work as well, don't forget that people can hide their symbol. As well, depending on a players alignment, they might not really care.
