Alchemy and teaching

I was wondering if teaching alchemy required the teachers or scholar feats to teach them? I was asked to teach someone and was totally unsure because I was told by two others that they werent and once you know all three you should be able to teach them to others, but I cannot and I have need of doing so for an rp.
So well to cut to the bone of things. Does one require the teacher/scholar feats to teach alchemy or is it just a mechanic thign you have to use it enough to do it?

"Teacher/1" should be enough, if I remember correctly.
