Emote

Syntax: emote <text>
Syntax: , <text>

Emote is a customized expression of emotions or actions. For example:

emote just smiles and nods.
or
, just smiles and nods.

...displays to everyone in the room:

<Your characters's name> just smiles and nods.

Do not use emote to say things. For instance emote smiles and says "Hello".
Emote does not parse the Hello through the language scrambler. If you wish
to do this use SMOTE instead.

Emote should not be used to describe events to which no other character could
have IC knowledge of. Or used to describe what your characters thoughts are.
They should not explain why your character is doing a particular emote.

Example of poor use of Emote: <Your character's name> has a new book. She's
got it in her bag. Ergo she is happy and beams towards you, head bobbing a
greeting.

Example of proper use with same basic Emote: <Your character's name> looks
happy and beams towards you, head bobbing a greeting.

Because of the extra functionality built into SMOTE, it is generally
preferable to get into the habit of using it over
EMOTE, as it can be used
for every occasion.
