Alignment

A creature's general moral and personal attitudes are represented by its
alignment: lawful good, neutral good, chaotic good, lawful neutral, (true)
neutral, chaotic neutral, lawful evil, neutral evil, or chaotic evil.

Alignment is a tool for developing your character's identity. It is not a
straitjacket for restricting your character. Each alignment represents a
broad range of personality types or personal philosophies, so two characters
of the same alignment can still be quite different from each other. In
addition, few people are completely consistent. However, your character's
deviations from the norm for their alignment should be guided by the
character's persona, not what will grant the greatest coded advantages.

* Your character's alignment is key to your character's IC interactions, and
should guide your roleplay of them. However, you may obtain help OOCly from
any character, of any alignment, and alignment does not control whether you
can interact with another PC, just how that interaction is likely to unfold.

* Regardless of your character's alignment, please pitch in and help new
players, especially in Waterdeep, both OOCly and, to the extent you can do so
plausibly, ICly. Even if your character is the sort who would harm or take
advantage of a young adventurer, please refrain from doing so where it is
clear the player behind a new PC is new to FK and still learning the ropes.
