Applying to join the Story Council
The Story Council is a group of players who are given a special set of tools to promote roleplay in the game. Being a member of Story Council is a little like being an immortal-in-training: members run their own quests, reward other players, and help to make the game enjoyable.
So what might the Story Council responsibilities be?
* First and foremost, the promotion of the higher calling of fun. * Each Story Council member is expected to run at least one role-play event per month. * Story Council may at times be called upon to help Immortals with larger metaplots. * Story Council members are expected to be well-versed in the rules of the game.
Story Council powers are not to be used for the furthering of your own character. Being on the Story Council is kind of like a second job. There are no tangible in-game benefits to your characters. You are expected, on occasion, to put aside some of your own time to run quests and events for other players. For a more in-depth explanation of the expectations of members of the Story Council, see the hyperlink at the bottom of this file. So, sounds like your cup of tea, perhaps?
Send an application via the forums containing:
* The name of your in-game account * An example of a quest you would like to run
You may wonder what kind of quest example we are looking for. Get creative, but think small scale, simple, and easy to run on your own. Quests and events should not be long-term, giant metaplots, but rather simple things to let players have a good time. The idea is for there to be minimal necessity for an Immortal to step in.
