Born into a noble family of Unther, Ciara grew up the daughter of a powerful
wizard and an eloquent bard. Though details were kept from her, Ciara's
family soon became a threat to another house in Unther. Hired guards made
several attempts on the family before they finally succeeded in burning down
the home with Ciara's parents inside. Many years were spent traveling with
her two young brothers whom had been with her when their home was burned.
Casually misplacing her brothers along the way, her travels eventually lead
to Waterdeep where she made both friends and enemies. With her father's wits
and her mother's charm she fell easily into the arts of enchantment. A love
for Misfortune, and a hatred towards guards didn't help to keep her in
Waterdeep long. A diploma from the School of Wonder, a mishap with a certain
badge, memories of tin cups and gruel, a few stones and a guard's eye under
her belt, a final signed petition against the City Watch was all it took to
send Ciara looking for another home. After a brief period of training and
brooding, she became a slightly eccentric wanderer, claiming residence in no
town, but warning those she met of the "wrath of the ravens". She has
currently been spending time in the Moonshaes where she speaks of plans to
build a guild for Enchanters.
