Game crashes

Crashes are unforeseen interruptions in the game that cause everyone to be
disconnected. If you type time and look at the system start up time, you can
determine if the game has just rebooted or if it was a problem with only your
character, computer, or internet connection.

99.9% of the time corpses will save over a crash. The game will start back up
with your character at the last place you saved or the game saved you.

The Imms will replace items lost due to OOC issues when possible. They do
take a few moments to ensure that the loss was due to game error and not PC
error. "Um, yeah, I didn't really mean to smelt down my ubersword of doom,
can I have three more please?" Even then, they will sometimes replace it.

We do not generally keep logs of what items an individual PC owns. We do keep
pfiles with those things in it, but they are a pain to access and restore.
Often times with such a restoration the player loses something else in the
process (e.g. levels, exp, etc.) It is BEST to keep a current log of your
possessions - Weekly, monthly, whenever you get something new that you want
to keep, whatever works for you.

If you lose something important due to a game error, and would really like to
get it back, post under the complaints forum, specifying your account name,
PC name, and as much *specific* information as possible about was lost - a
log is ideal; the exact adjective used to describe an object is far better
than an approximate one. Please understand that immortal time to deal with
such matters is limited, so please only ask when what was lost is not readily
replaced.
